The recommendation applies in Vita Sand, Sandvik, Kolboda, Voxtorp, Ekenäs and Halltorp.
Kalmar water writes on its website that a preliminary analysis result indicates that the drinking water may contain too much bacteria.

Apart from before drinking the water, the recommendation to first boil the water also applies when, for example, making coffee and when brushing your teeth.
According to Kalmar water, the boil recommendation will remain until at least November 3. New samples are taken continuously to systematically examine the water.
During Sunday, water tanks will be placed at the school in Halltorp, the fire station in Gräsgärde and at Möregården in Hagby.
