According to a study of 2000 adults, a specific moment of our day – taking place early in the morning – would be the cause of all our worries. Explanations.

Skipping breakfast for lack of time, being stuck in traffic jams, arriving late at the office, having to go to meetings… Many small everyday hassles undermine morale. But a particular moment would be associated with a significant stress peak. This was revealed by a survey carried out by OnePollfor the RESCUE Remedy brand, relayed by Studyfinds.

Daily hassles that cause stress and anxiety

If the survey reveals that fatigue (46%), an interrupted night’s sleep (36%) or a busy work day (33%) are among the main causes of our little daily hassles, the fateful hour at time we would be most stressed would be… 7:23. Indeed, it would coincide with the time of getting ready to go to work.

Often when we think of ‘drama’ we think big, but study shows how small details can impact our daily mood“, reveals Zuzana Bustikova, spokesperson for the brand.

According to the survey, while 35% of volunteers believe that small stressful events are part of life, 24% find it difficult to relax when faced with such hassles.

These daily inconveniences lead people to feel frustrated (32%), anxious (23%) and even tired (21%).

Similarly, 24% admit that overthinking everyday issues has an impact on their sleep and 22% find it emotionally draining.

The study further reveals that adults think about five things at a time on average and that 16% of them think that they have more worries than others.

Finally, 24% of people questioned by OnePoll admit that these inconveniences occur “by their fault”, such as waking up late.
