20:07 – A baby born a few hours before the final of The Voice
Adnaé obviously had an excellent reason to miss the final of The Voice. The singer actually gave birth this Wednesday, May 22, as she herself announced the next day on her Instagram account. In a story where we see her bedridden in hospital, she wrote: “Hello, I have something to tell you”, among emojis including a baby one. In a second story, she finally shows her child asleep and wrapped in a sleeping bag, with the words: “Finalist The Voice 13, May 22, 2024”.
19:58 – “It is not possible to be present during this final”
Adnaé explained again to Télé Loisirs: “I am expecting a child and as I live in Mozambique. The delivery date is very close to the final, it is not possible to be present during this final”, assured the young woman of 32 years, who therefore leaves her place to her competitor Iris whom she had beaten with 54.3% of the votes during the semi-final.
19:48 – A surprise retirement just before the final
Via her Instagram account, Adnaé, initially qualified for the final, made an unexpected announcement just a few hours after her qualifying semi-final last week. Pregnant, she decided to give up: “The semi-final was recorded in advance, since then, my little one has grown well. The arrival of the baby and the schedule for the final being tight, the trips between Mozambique and France are not possible for me…”, she explained.
