Chips are a topic that engages the Swedish people again and again.
In March drew attention News24 that OLW released a new chip flavor for the summer. It quickly spread in a Facebook group and drove customers absolutely crazy.

Another chip news that hit like a bomb earlier this spring was when it became clear that a prized Estrella bag had run out, never to return.
– The product has sold out much faster than we expected. So a clear sales success, said Christopher Westerbergpress manager at Estrella, in a comment at the time.

And perhaps it is to compensate for the expired favorite bag that Estrella has now released a brand new chip flavor just in time for summer.
Their summer chips for this year have the flavor of sour cream, coriander and chilli, reveals Matsiktet on Instagram.

“Tastes like soap, unfortunately”
The news will only be available for purchase in stores from week 20, but the reactions have already begun to trickle in.
Coriander tends to be a flavor that divides consumers into two camps – whatever food it is used as a flavoring on. The Estrella chips are no exception.
Some are, to say the least, skeptical of the news:
“Probably the first one I won’t taste.. damn what a disgusting combo”
“I’m one of those people with the gene that thinks coriander tastes like soap, unfortunately”
