Streamer sells off his favorite player for far too few coins – blames his dog for it

Getting your favorite player for Ultimate Team in EA FC 24 is sometimes not that easy, especially when he is one of the rarest cards out there. A well-known streamer had this luxury cost him several million coins, but just seconds later there was no sign of his very expensive purchase. He blamed his dog, of all people.

What’s the matter? The American streamer IshowSpeed has now become very famous; he is even known in football circles for his enormous fan love for the Portuguese superstar Cristiano Ronaldo.

For the Team of the Year event, the latter even got a really strong card with massive upgrades. After ‘Speed’ couldn’t pull him through various pack openings, the streamer took heart and decided to buy his idol on the transfer market.

In order to give his favorite a ‘welcome’ in an appropriate setting, he even had a special guest on board alongside his community in a live stream, who was to be given a special honor. His dog was supposed to open the pack and did so with the help of his owner. After the purchase was completed and the initial jubilation about the absolute favorite player had passed, great disillusionment followed.

As quickly as TOTY Ronaldo came, he left

What happened? When IShowSpeed finalized the purchase, he was overjoyed with his dog. It’s just stupid that he seemed to completely ignore his controller. Amidst the streamer’s shouting, you can see how he pushes TOTY Ronaldo into the quick sells column in the menu and confirms this process. Even after that, more windows open wildly.

Instead of knowing his hero was in his own ranks, he unintentionally sold him for a fraction of the purchase price without knowing anything about it. At this point, the streamer was not only one TOTY Ronaldo poorer, but also 13 million coins poorer.

After he had calmed down somewhat, he initially searched in vain for a TOTY Ronaldo in his club. It was only when he watched the replay of his own stream after unsuccessful attempts that he realized what HE had done.

Or if you believe Speed’s statements, you should actually say: … what HIS DOG had done. He stared at him with a serious expression and accused him of selling his Ronaldo, saying the four-legged friend’s name several times in a serious tone.

Not only was the poor little guy shaken by the exuberant cheers and probably didn’t find his master’s noise all that intoxicating, but to make matters worse, he was also blamed for his owner’s rashness.

Happy ending for everyone involved: web app makes it possible

What happened next? Luckily for ‘Speeds’, there is the option of bringing back a certain number of players who have been rejected via the web app or the companion app for EA FC 24. After gathering his thoughts again after the initial shock, the streamer took this opportunity and searched for his discarded superstar on the web app. Ultimately, he was able to iron out the mishap and add TOTY Ronaldo back to his club.

So the brief moment of shock ended well for everyone involved. IShowSpeed will perhaps be a little more cautious in the future, which should also be better received by its little companion.

Even before the release of EA FC 24, we had already reported on the streamer in connection with Cristiano Ronaldo. At the time, he was so upset about the superstar’s new rating that it almost upset him.
