Porn star Stormy Daniels is back on the witness stand.
Aftonbladet’s Emelie Svensson reports directly from the court in New York.
Trump spoke to reporters and photographers in the hallway before entering the court.
“I think you’re going to see some very interesting things today,” Trump told them.
Trump is smiling and appears to be in good spirits so far.
He makes small talk with his defenders.
Stormy Daniels is not yet on the witness stand.
Soon they are face to face again.
Now Trump arrives. He wears a navy blue suit and light blue tie. He is surrounded by his lawyers: Todd Blanche, Emil Bove and Susan Necheles.
On Tuesday, something happened that I didn’t understand in court at first:
Trump allegedly uttered a swear word during Stormy Daniels’ testimony.
Court transcripts showed the judge telling Trump’s defense attorneys that their client was swearing. The judge warned such actions can be seen as attempts to intimidate a witness, and will not be tolerated.
According to people I have spoken to at the scene today, Trump is said to have said the word “bullshit”.
The prosecution side is in place in the courtroom. Now we wait for Donald Trump and his lawyers to make their entrance.
