Stina Nilsson is charging for another season as a biathlete.
It will be her third season and now she is revealing her own future in the new sport.
– I feel so fresh and new, she tells Radiosporten.

After a first learning season in the IBU Cup, the very first season at the World Cup followed last year for the Swede. After a fine spring where she took her first podium at the World Cup and also won SM gold, Nilsson is now loading up for her third season as a biathlete.

Stina’s honest words

Now the Swedish hope hopes that the shooting will be even better next season.
– It’s still a rollercoaster. I shot 0-0 for the first time at an SM competition this summer, I’ve never done that before. I feel that the lumps come up less often in my protocol, she says in an interview with Radiosporten.

Stina Nilsson also opens up about the future and can honestly say how long she wants to continue biathlon.
– I’m 29 now and if I had been a cross-country skier or had been doing biathlon for a long time, you might have started thinking about how long you should continue. But I feel so fresh and new, so I feel like I don’t want to decide how long I will last, she says in the interview.

The biathlete sees himself competing in the upcoming 2026 Winter Olympics in Milan/Cortina, Italy.
– I do not see it as an impossibility, certainly not, that I will continue beyond the next Olympics, she says to the radio channel.
