Around 2010, jumping competitions with stick horses began to spread as a trend among children and young people in Finland. The phenomenon spread to Sweden a few years later.
In Råneå, the stick horses have gotten more and more children to come to the riding club, says chairman Ingela Lindqvist.
– It is the first step into horse life, she says.
