There had to be a super tiebreak for Visscher and Ivanova against the South Korean couple Jeong/Lee. Both duos won a set 7-6, after which the super tiebreak was won 10-7 by Visscher and Ivanova, who were able to live up to their favorite status. The two were the first to qualify in the doubles tournament.
