What do they do with stem cells?
The Stem Cell Bank is an organization where people can have their own stem cells stored for a fee. These stem cells are obtained from umbilical cord blood. This is taken shortly after birth and sent to Stamcelbank Nederland. Recognition is required for the receipt of human tissue, its processing, storage and distribution. Stem cell bank Netherlands was the only institution in the Netherlands that had this accreditation for stem cells.
