A 32-year-old Utrecht resident who continued to stalk his ex-girlfriend for months despite a previous conviction and restraining order should receive a substantial suspended prison sentence, according to the public prosecutor. The Public Prosecution Service also wants the court to impose a whole package of measures on him to ensure that he leaves the woman alone from now on. In addition, he would have to pay her substantial compensation for the suffering caused.
