Anyone requiring immediate medical attention should call 911. Paramedics will remain available to the community and will reroute to the nearest available emergency department to ensure local residents continue to have access to the emergency services they need.

For non-urgent health care, call Health Connect Ontario at 811, which is available 24-7 for non-emergency health-related questions. For those with family doctors, inquire about same-day appointments or after-hours clinics.

The closest 24-hour emergency departments at the St. Marys Memorial Hospital are:

  • the Stratford General Hospital in Stratford;
  • South Huron Hospital in Exeter;
  • Alexandra Hospital in Ingersoll; and
  • University Hospital or Victoria Hospital in London.

The Huron Perth Healthcare Alliance advises residents to check with local emergency rooms before visiting to ensure they are operating with normal hours.
