HANDBALL Laura van der Heijden from Leusden and Angela Malestein from Bunschoten are, as has been the case in recent years, part of the selection of the Dutch team, which will start the qualifications for the 2024 World Cup in October. The Netherlands will play against Portugal on October 12 , two days later Finland is the opponent.
Malestein plays in the Hungarian league for FTC Rail-Cargo, Van der Heijden is under contract with the French Chambray. (Friday September 15)
