TENNIS Guy den Ouden has abandoned his match in the eighth finals of the ITF tournament in Heraklion, Greece, injured. The Maarssen native won the first set 6-1 against fellow countryman Guy den Heijer, but had to abandon the battle when trailing 5-3 in the second set.
Sidane Pontjodikromo did reach the quarter-finals. De Leersummer defeated Sebastian Gima from Romania 7-5, 1-6, 6-2. (Thursday November 2)
