Province of Utrecht – CYCLING Lorena Wiebes will not participate in the mixed relay team time trial at the World Cycling Championships in Glasgow on Tuesday afternoon. The Mijdrechtse is not fit, reports cycling association KNWU. Wiebes is replaced by Riejanne Markus, the Dutch time trial champion. A spokesman for the KNWU says that Wiebes’ participation in the road race of the World Cup next Sunday is not yet in danger.
