The new role-playing game “Baldur’s Gate 3” is proving to be a problem for streamers on Twitch: Because the game has spicy scenes that do not comply with Twitch guidelines. Currently, Twitch seems to be turning a blind eye, but even stars like Michael “shroud” Grzesiek (29) fear the ban.

“Nude scenes” are popular ban reasons on Twitch
Why are streamers afraid of a ban? There are always stories of streamers being banned from Twitch because they were surprised by nudity or were ‘accidentally’ naked themselves:
As a result, streamers have developed a natural fear of suddenly seeing a sex scene on Twitch and getting banned for it.
That doesn’t really go over well with advertising partners either, so it can definitely be career-damaging.
“It will be over soon”
This is now the biggest example: Streamer shroud is known for his shooter skills, but his love is roleplaying. shroud is now one of the biggest streamers on the release of Baldur’s Gate 3 on Twitch.

What’s next after the scene? After the scene, shroud puts both hands up and announces, “I didn’t sign for that.” He then makes some helpless gestures, burying his hand in front of his face to catch his breath.
About 20 seconds after shutting down the stream, he says to the camera, “You’re still going, by the way.”
Are all scenes like that? The sex scenes obviously differ in their clarity. In my game I conquered the warrior Lae’zel with my drachmen: the scenes are erotic, but not that explicit. It’s more about the fact that she stays to cuddle after the act.

That’s what’s special about the clip: More than 280,000 people have now seen the clip. At the moment the clip is still online.
Along with clips about genitalia selection on Baldur’s Gate 3, it’s the most popular. The game really seems to be breaking new ground, not only in terms of quality, but also in what is shown on Twitch.
shroud is actually known as a very “clean streamer” that doesn’t take any risks. You can see from his behavior that the scene is quite uncomfortable for him and that he actually didn’t want to gamble that high.
