At the end of the 1990s, Charlie Hunnam already dreamed of becoming an actor, but as an acting student he was far from getting his foot in the door of the business. But chance meant well for the future Sons of Anarchy star. The Jax actor still remembers the day that changed everything for him and ultimately helped him achieve his breakthrough:

I always used to do my shopping on Christmas Eve [kurz vor Ladenschluss] completed. I encouraged myself with a few drinks. I tried on sneakers for my brother and I was thinking about buying it for him.

During this last minute Christmas present hunt, Charlie Hunnam finally noticed a woman staring at him. Instead of looking away, he reacted confidently in his tipsy state:

I blew her a kiss and she smiled and thought ‘Who is this cheeky little bastard?’ [Sie war beim Fernsehen und] helped me get three TV episodes.
