Sogefi 2023 revenues at 16 billion doubles profit

(Finance) – The Group’s consolidated revenues for the 2023 financial year Sogefi they amounted to 1,627.9 million, up 5.5% at current exchange rates and
by 9.1% at constant exchange rates compared to 2022.

The growth in revenues, explains the company, reflects the very positive trend recorded in Europe (+10%), in North America (+6.0% and +10.5% at constant exchange rates) and in India (+7, 1% and +15.6% at constant exchange rates); in the remaining areas, volumes were essentially stable, but revenues were penalized by changes in exchange rates (-7.1% in China, +0.5% at constant exchange rates, and -21.7% in South America, -2.2% at constant exchange rates net of Argentina’s inflation).

EBITDA amounted to 221.4 million, up 13.5% compared to 2022 (195.1 million). The EBITDA margin went from 12.6% in 2022 to 13.6% in 2023.

L’EBIT it amounted to 105.2 million, up 49.2% compared to 70.5 million in 2022. The impact on turnover grew from 4.6% in 2022 to 6.5% in 2023.
The Group recorded a consolidated net profit from operating activities of 67.7 million, compared to 32.6 million in the previous year.

The group reported a Net income of 57.8 million, compared to 29.6 million in the previous year.

Financial debt net before IFRS16 at 31 December 2023 was equal to 200.7 million, compared to 224.3 million at 31 December 2022. Including financial debts for rights of use, according to IFRS 16, the net financial debt at 31 December 2023 was equal to 266.1 million, compared to 294.9 million at December 31, 2022.

The Board of Directors, “in consideration of the result of the period and the financial solidity of the group”, will propose to the Ordinary Shareholders’ Meeting, called on first call for next 22 April 2024, to allocate the net profit resulting from the financial statements
of exercise as of 31 December 2023, equal to Euro 6,735,288.96, by way of dividend per share of Euro 0.20 for each of the shares in circulation, for a total of Euro 23,730,484 valid for the amount of Euro 16,995,195.04 on the “Retained earnings reserve” and for the amount of Euro 6,735,288 .96 on 2023 operating profit.

The dividend will be paid from 8 May 2024, following ex-dividend date on 6 May 2024 and “record date” on 7 May 2024.
