The woman received the position of social secretary in the fall of 2020, she would then be responsible for heavy social matters in Gothenburg. The position required a degree in sociology, something she did not have, according to the report GT’s disclosure.
The false credentials were revealed even before employment at the social service by the woman’s former workplace, the Swedish Migration Agency, after she was guilty of data breaches on several occasions, something for which she was subsequently convicted.
SVT is seeking Gothenburg municipality for a comment on the matter.
