It was reported in the news that a police helicopter conducting an aerial survey in the region located the lion in a cultivated field near the city center at around 21:00, and then intervened with tranquilizer bullets on the animal.
It was stated that the lion was secured after falling asleep under the effect of the sedative, and then handed over to the circus personnel.
