Soccer: Real Madrid’s Jude Bellingham decided El Clasico in extra time

– We still have to finish the league. But this match reflects our season, we fight until the end, says Lucas Vázquez to Movistar+.

Real trailed twice in the Spanish La Liga match but could have the final say at home at the Santiago Bernabeu stadium. In added time, Lucas Vazquez made his way to the right wing and slotted the ball in.

Bellingham, waving his hand, appeared and thundered the ball, which went past everyone in the penalty area, into the roof of the net and was able to celebrate another important goal. Now the league title is close for Real, who with six games to go are eleven points ahead of runner-up Barcelona.

Barcelona took an early lead

Already in the sixth minute, Dane Andreas Christensen headed in 1-0 for Barcelona. No one could match the Dane’s reach at the far post.

In the 18th minute, Real Madrid’s Lucas Vazquez made his way down the byline and saw an outstretched leg which he aimed for and fell convincingly. Vinicius Junior slotted the penalty safely into the goal for 1-1 and took the opportunity to dance for the fans outside at the corner flag.

At the Barcelona bench, coach Xavi was upset and signed for filming.

The first half was extended for several minutes after Barcelona’s Frenkie de Jong suffered a terrible injury. Real’s Federico Valverde came at full speed and was hit on the ball and de Jong’s ankle. The Dutchman was treated for several minutes and got up but had to wait for the stretcher and be carried out in severe pain.
