SNKs fighting game will weigh heavily its even the toughest

There are only a few weeks left before the arrival on the shelves of the highly anticipated KOF XV, the new fighting game from SNK laboratories. The title will indeed land on February 17, 6 years after a KOF XIV which had certainly thrilled the fans on the gameplay side but which showed weaknesses in terms of graphics. Since then, the Japanese studio has made good progress and the reboot of Samurai Shodown in 2019 confirmed the efforts made. If KOF XV is planned on almost all platforms on the market, we already know the size of the game in its PS5 version. We will also have to make room on the hard disk, since KOF XV displays a nice 68,048 GB at the weigh-in, which makes it the heaviest fighting game in history, knowing that the day one patch is not even taken into account. For comparison, Guilty Gear Strive weighs just 16GB, which raises some pretty natural questions. Has SNK poorly optimized its game, is all the content, even DLC already included, or are we going to have any surprises in the future? For the moment, these questions remain in abeyance.
