SNCF continues to bring order to its multiple digital platforms. From now on, with My SNCF ID, a single password will suffice to access all services, including OUIGO. This will simplify things!

The least we can say is that the SNCF had gotten its wheels tangled up in the tracks during its great digital transformation by multiplying sites, platforms and apps at will, to the point of mislead the most seasoned station masters… In fact, for years, the company has continued to fragment its services on different digital tools – one to find information on trains, another to book tickets, yet another another to manage their subscriptions, etc. – so much so that it was hard to know where to turn. Between sncf.com, voyage-sncf, OUI SNCF, the SNCF Assistant, Ma ligne C, OUIGO or even Transilien, you had to be motivated to prepare a trip without missing the connection…

Fortunately, the company ended up listening to its users – sorry, its customers… – by deciding to put some order in its dematerialized services by launching, in early 2022, SNCF Connect, a platform supposed to bring together all the others – but without eliminating them – and thus making life easier for travellers. A positive first step, even if its many bugs and its interface continue to be debated. And to ensure better interoperability between its services – there’s enough to get lost with so many passwords – it has set up a system called Mon Identifiant SNCF. This is a unique identifier (e-mail and password) which allows you to connect to the majority of SNCF spaces and its partners: SNCF Assistant, TGV INOUI, TGV INOUI Pro, SNCF Connect and above all – c is the great novelty – OUIGO.

How to link your OUIGO and SNCF Connect accounts?

Several scenarios arise when you decide to link your OUIGO and SNCF accounts: either you already have an SNCF Connect account when you connect to OUIGO, or you do not have one, or you have neither an SNCF Connect account nor OUIGO account. If you don’t have an account at all, just create one on one of the two platforms. It will suffice to reuse the same identifiers to automatically access the other. In other cases, the procedure is the same on the website and on the mobile application.

If you have both an SNCF Connect account and an OUIGO account, go to the latter and follow the following procedure:

► Connect to your OUIGO account with your usual email address.

► Then enter your SNCF Connect password (also valid on other SNCF sites).

► You land on the page Welcome to My SNCF ID. In the corresponding fields, re-enter your email address and password that you normally use for SNCF Connect (and other SNCF sites).

► Click the red button Log in.

► Enter the Verification code six-digit number sent to your inbox and click the red button To validate.

► The site then tells you that “your OUIGO customer account is now compatible with My Unique SNCF Identifier“. You can already forget your old OUIGO identifiers, only your SNCF Connect identifiers now count.

In the last case, you do have an OUIGO account, but no SNCF Connect account. Here’s how to fix it:

► Go to the OUIGO website and log in to your account.

► A pop-up window Good news ! appears. Click the blue button I understood.

► Click on I activate my SNCF ID when he comes to you.

► Enter your new password. This is the one that will now allow you to connect to the OUIGO site but also to all the other SNCF sites.
