Smoke development on planes at Arlanda Airport – big effort

Smoke has erupted on a plane at Arlanda Airport.
– We have several resources on the way, says Roger Sverndal at the rescue centre.
Four ambulances are on site at the plane. Six people are said to have been on board.

The warning alarm from Arlanda airport went off at 14:48 on Thursday.

– It is a plane that has landed that has smoke in the cabin, says Roger Sverndal, control operator at the rescue center.

A large rescue mission has been called to the airport, including the police and four ambulances.

It is unclear if anyone has been injured.

– So far, no one has been loaded into an ambulance, says Heléne Wickberg, team leader at SOS Alarm at 3:15 p.m.
