The British series Slow Horses, starring Oscar-winning actor Gary Oldman, is returning to Apple TV+ for its fourth season.

The series has the star cast Gary Oldman (JFK, Batman, Harry Potter) that we had not seen in the credits of a series episode since 2001 and his appearance in Friends as Richard Crosby, a comedian Joey meets on the set of a World War I film.
Here he plays a high-ranking MI5 official who has fallen into disgrace, while Kristin Scott Thomasanother British star seen in Four Weddings and a Funeral (1994) or again The English Patient (1996), plays a brutal counterintelligence leader. Around them: Jack Lowden (Dunkirk), Saskia Reeves (Nymphomaniac, Luther) and Olivia Cooke (House of the Dragons, Ready Player One). Little bonus information: the singer who performs the song in the credits is none other than Mick Jagger!

In a dingy office known as the Cowshed on the outskirts of London, a team of MI5 agents, led by their odious boss, the notorious Jackson Lamb, navigate the murky world of espionage to defend England from enemy forces. Banished from MI5’s prestigious headquarters, they all hope to return to a more prestigious position.
