Slide, panoramic roof to see the stars… This is what a child’s dream plane would look like

Slide panoramic roof to see the stars This is what

If they were at the controls of a plane, children would have much more fun traveling! According to a Booking study, they would build a two-story plane with slides, a panoramic roof to see the stars, a trampoline floor, and add other destinations, including a trip to the moon!

What would a child’s dream plane look like? This is the question asked to 1,000 of them, aged 6 to 11, as part of a Booking.com study, which shows that their imagination has no limits. Flights would indeed be much more fun since 44% of little ones would like planes to have two floors, with slides connecting each level. 40% of children also suggest installing a panoramic roof so they can observe the stars in the sky and windows that open to touch the clouds with their fingertips.

Regarding on-board activities, they would dream of diving into a swimming pool (44%), climbing a climbing wall (30%) or walking on a trampoline floor (34%). And that’s not all: children would also like to have more comfort in flight, with more space for their little legs (just so they don’t get scolded by kicking the passenger in front), three-story bunk beds to make them feel comfortable, and a no-adults zone. Of course, children would also dream of flying the plane with a seat located next to the pilots or a remote control to take control.

Finally, children are also demanding: 44% of children would like their parents to serve them snacks during the flight if they could, while 19% would prefer Santa to take care of it. In the same spirit, 19% would take revenge by asking their brother and sister to serve them their meal on board and 16% of them would call on their favorite YouTuber to bring them food and drink.

As for the ideal destinations40% of them would dream of traveling to the moon. Among those with more realistic expectations, a third would like to discover the sandy beaches of the Caribbean, 30% would like to go to the Maldives to swim with marine animals, and 26% hope to go to Japan to enjoy its fast trains and his robots. But unsurprisingly, it is Lapland which comes at the top of children’s dream destinations, with 43% of them dreaming of going to visit Santa Claus.
