Biles’ previous competition is from the summer of 2021. At that time, she had to leave the Tokyo Olympics team competition dramatically due to mental health challenges. In an Instagram video of the shared tweet, Biles opened up at the time of Tokyo about how her mind and body aren’t working right, and gymnastics on a competitive platform would be really dangerous.
