SIA wins the tender with the GSE Ciardi Protagonists of

(Finance) – The SIA a company newly listed on the Euronext Growth Milan market and active in the critical infrastructure engineering & design sector, won a tender announced by the GSE – Energy Services Manager worth 1 million eurosfor the assignment of support services to the technical management of the investigations relating to requests for admission to Thermal Account incentives.

The framework agreement, which has a value of 1,020,000 euros, provides the start of the Service in October 2023for a total duration of four years. The order consolidates the visibility of the future trend of the business (backlog), given that in the last update of March 2023, the order book amounted to 27.1 million euros.

The GSE contract strengthens the company’s positioning in the Energy sector, which is destined to grow significantly in the coming years, in light of the ambitious European objectives. In March 2023 the European Union raised the 42.5% the target of production of energy through renewables scheduled for 2030, corresponding to the doubling of the current share and, to implement this plan, a Green Deal industrial plan for Europe was proposed in February 2023.

“The awarding of this contract is part of the strategic plan broader than positioning ourselves as which reference player in Italy in the energy sector and energy efficiency in a more general sense”, he explained to Finance President and CEO Maurizio Ciardiadding “the Energy sector is among those in which greater resources linked to the PNRR will be used, we intend to intercept these resources with a view to diversifying our technological and business proposal, also seizing the opportunity to expand into new markets”.

“We are committed to developing technologically innovative solutions and implement R&D activity through participation in regional, national and European research and development tenders on issues such as energy efficiency”, underlined the manager.

Regarding future prospects, Ciardi explained that the Green Deal “aims at Strengthen the competitiveness of the European zero-emission industry and accelerate the transition to climate neutrality. It does this by creating a more favorable environment forincrease in production capacity of the EU for the zero-emission technologies and products needed to achieve Europe’s ambitious climate goals.”

“In 2022 they were 12.79 billion invested euros in energy efficiency in the country, of which approximately 2 in the industrial sector and over 10 in the civil sector. To date, these investments, however, they do not yet appear sufficient to achieve the challenging objectives that have been assigned to Italy for the 2030 target – underlines the CEO of La SIA – We therefore expect a further acceleration in the coming years in favor of the energy transition and we intend to be protagonistsbringing value in terms of technical skills and operational efficiency”.
