Shutting the valves, Putin openly declared: Europe will be frozen this winter

Another suspicious death related to Gazprom

Russian leader Putin, who received the reaction of the West after the war in Ukraine and faced many sanctions, almost defied him. Speaking at the Eastern Economic Forum General Assembly held in Vladivostok, Russia’s Far East region, Putin said, “We will not provide gas, oil, coal, heating oil. We will not provide anything. The West will be frozen.”

NATURAL GAS SHIPMENT STOPPED

The war between Russia and Ukraine has been going on since February 24. Since then, many European countries have imposed sanctions on Russia, while the Russian natural gas company Gazprom has reduced exports for various reasons. Gazprom, which has notified at least one major European customer of “force majeure” starting from June 14, has stopped natural gas shipments from the Nord Stream pipeline “indefinitely”.

WILL NOT RE-OPEN TO EUROPE

Russian gas giant Gazprom has announced that it will not reopen the Nord Stream gas pipeline to Europe as planned.

THERE WERE 35 PERCENT FROM RUSSIA

Until the beginning of the war, European countries met an average of 35 percent of their energy needs from Russia. More than 50 percent of the natural gas need of Germany, the locomotive country of the European Union, was supplied from Russia.

German Chancellor Scholz announced that the Nord Stream 2 natural gas pipeline project was canceled with Russia’s entry into Ukraine.
