She took care of two of the frozen cats

Mona Rönnbäck has taken care of two of the more than 22 cats that were dumped outside in the icy cold in the municipality of Kalix. There are many indications that they were neglected before being dumped. – They had very long claws, very emaciated and scared. Simply traumatized. This week, nine cats were first found chilled by a snowdrift in Kalix, Norrbotten. After the first find, cat after cat was found until 22 cats were counted. All have now found new homes. “Going in the right direction” One of those who have already adopted is Mona Rönnbäck, who took in two cats, now named Storm and Mirre. One of the cats was frozen with its tail in the ice. – They were stressed, anxious and afraid and did not want to come forward. But it’s quite natural when you think about what they’ve been through. Got a warm home, food and care. – Things have started to go a little better when we get up and try to take them out and scratch them, they are calmer in the arms than they were before, so it feels like maybe things are still going in the right direction, says Mona Rönnbäck. See Mona Rönnbäck about the cats in the clip above.
