(Finance) – Maticminda leading system integrator in the Italian ICT sector, has the acquisition of 100% of GDMS-Italy was completed: world-class engineering, integration and installation company providing fully integrated, broad and complex solutions.
The closing allows the Maticmind group, which today it boasts over 1500 employees and offices throughout Italy, to expand its business and develop new solutions for its customers (more than 1000 between the public and private sectors). This acquisition will allow Maticmind to integrate with his skills those brought by GDMS-Italy, which has a strong focus on the telco branch (fixed and transportable telecommunications), security systems (access control, video surveillance, etc.) and Command and Control solutions. A company with more than 65 years of experience, collaborations with entities such as NATO and various Ministries of Defense, which over time has developed integrated and cutting-edge solutions with the main operators in the EPC and Energy sectors.
The operation represents a development opportunity for Maticmind to increase its presence on foreign markets (both in the countries in which it already operates and in new geographical areas such as the Middle East and Africa), as well as offering new solutions for infrastructural digitalisation and within the Energy market. Following the acquisition, GDMS-Italy will change its name to PAGE EUROPA. The acquisition also represents a development opportunity for EUROPE PAGE which through synergies with Maticmind will expand its offering in global markets.
