Mixed Saturday and Sunday next year
As of next season, the third and fourth divisions and the 1st classes will no longer be divided into a Saturday and a Sunday competition. In the two third divisions, Saturday and Sunday clubs will play mixed in two regionally divided groups from August.
The fourth division, which currently consists of two Saturday and two Sunday groups, will consist of four regionally divided groups next season with both Saturday and Sunday clubs.
Just like in the second division, in which Saturday and Sunday clubs have been playing against each other for several years, basic Saturday clubs never have to play on Sunday. A game between a Saturday and a Sunday club will always be played on Saturday.
