Sensational MCU return in the future? Chris Evans wants more Captain America

Sensational MCU return in the future Chris Evans wants more

With Avengers 4: Endgame, Steve Rogers aka Captain America was given a perfect ending. In the MCU blockbuster, the superhero finally traveled back in time to spend time with his great love Peggy.

Despite this touching resolution, many Marvel fans want Chris Evans back in the role. In a new interview, the star has now commented again and cautiously spread hope.

Chris Evans isn’t ruling out Captain America’s return

As Variety reports, at the C2E2 fan convention in Chicago, Evans spoke about the fan desire for the Avengers member to return:

It’s tough because look, I love this role a lot. He means so much to me and I really mean that. I think there are certainly more Steve Rogers stories to come.
But at the same time I’m very, very careful with it… it’s like this shiny little thing that I have that I love so much and I just don’t want to screw it up and I was a part of something that was so special for the time was and in a way really went down that well.

From this excerpt it can already be seen that the star is definitely in the mood for a Captain America comeback. At this point, he’s definitely ruling it out:

As much as I am connected to this role and love telling these stories and working with these people. It just doesn’t feel right.

Nevertheless, the MCU star’s statements seem like an optimistic update. Chris Evans definitely still wants more Steve Rogers stories and if so the right timing in the Marvel Cinematic Universe has come, we could possibly see him again on the big screen in the leading role.
