Confetti rained down on Fetterman as he continued to answer. This was due to the new Reactions feature that Apple introduced with iOS 17.
New Reactions feature arrived with iOS 17
With Reactions, certain actions trigger a response, and since this feature is enabled by default, someone who is unaware of Reactions, such as Senator Fetterman, could find themselves in an embarrassing or awkward situation.
