At the Leerdam Food Bank there is actually only one thing missing from the range: halal meat. About 30 Muslim families come every week with a cool bag, but it often goes home empty. This can be done differently, says coordinator Martine Visser, and that is why the food bank is making an appeal. “It would be nice if people united.”
