As Variety reports, Cruise has one with studio Warner Bros Contract signed for several films. It is not clear exactly which projects the agreement includes. Cruise is allowed to produce films for other studios on the side, but will work with Warner on “a mix of original material and franchise films” works in which he plays the main role.

Until now The filming of the sequel failed mainly due to the schedule of the two stars, as Edge of Tomorrow screenwriter Christopher McQuarrie revealed to Comicbook.com.
