Lost grandma and grandpa at the same time
It is an emotional Sanna Nielsen who during lunch talks about the tough period in 2005 when the family had to say goodbye to her grandfather. The whole family was gathered at the hospital to be there during his last days of life.
It was a slow goodbye and one day her grandmother decided to go home. The family thinks nothing more of it and sends her home. Then, right as it is, Sanna Nielsen’s mother receives a phone call that makes her sink to the floor.
– Then we found out that… grandmother had fallen asleep in bed, or we don’t know, or yes, she had passed away. So she passed away before grandpa, she says with tearful eyes.

After that, the family tells Sanna Nielsen’s grandfather that it is okay to let go now, because grandmother is waiting on the other side.
– Then he opens his eyes and looks at mother… and squeezes her hand. Then he closes his eyes and disappears. Then they are both gone. I usually say that they lived a whole life together and they also walked together.
