Sales Confcommercio and the Italian Fashion Federation remind you of

(Finance) – I’m officially sales started today throughout Italy, with the exception of the Aosta Valley (where they already started two days ago) and Trentino Alto Adige, where the start of the discounts is diversified between the tourist municipalities and all the others, while in Trento and its province the traders can decide in a way autonomous when to carry them out. “They will be almost 16 million families involved in discounted shoppingthe start of which coincides with the last weekend of the Christmas holidays, for a turnover of 4.8 billion euros and a per capita expenditure of around 137 euros” says theConfcommercio research office.

“These are estimates that highlight the stability of Italians’ propensity to consume”, observed the national president of the Italian Fashion Federation-Confcommercio, Giulio Felloniaccording to which these sales represent “an exceptional opportunity for consumers who will be able to find a vast assortment of quality products at very affordable prices in fashion stores”.

The five rules to follow to purchase correctly: exchanges, trying on items, payments, products on sale, price indications

It is precisely Confcommercio and the Italian Fashion Federation who remind us of these rules. First, remember that the possibility of changing the item after it has been purchased it is generally left to the discretion of the retailer, unless the product is damaged or non-compliant. In this case, the retailer is obliged to repair or replace the item and, if this proves impossible, to reduce or refund the price paid. However, the buyer is required to report the defect of the garment within two months from the date of discovery of the defect. For online purchases, exchanges or termination of the contract are always permitted within 14 days of receiving the product regardless of the presence of defects, except for made-to-measure or personalized products. There is no requirement to try on clothes. Everything is left to the discretion of the shopkeeper. Credit cards must be accepted by the shopkeeper and cashless payments should be encouraged. It’s better avoid purchasing clothing items that do not have the two labels, that of composition and that of maintenance. It’s always a good habit, then, Compare the old price tag with the lowered one. In fact, since last year some changes have come into force on sales which oblige shopkeepers to show double prices, both the reduced price and the one charged in the previous 30 days. If you have doubts about the discount percentage or the price does not seem correct, it is better to ask the shopkeeper for clarification.
