Russia launches Arctic LNG 2 project for liquefied natural gas

The new liquefied natural gas (LNG) project transported via the Arctic is taking shape in Russia. Vladimir Putin kicked off on Thursday July 20 in Murmansk to begin transporting this new production line at sea. Baptized Arctic LNG 2, this 21 billion dollar project reinforces the exploitation of this route made passable with global warming and reshuffles the geostrategic maps of the region.
