Four drones are said to have been shot down near Moscow in the early morning, Russia’s Ministry of Defense told Russian state-controlled media.
Debris should have fallen over the town of Valuevo, according to Moscow mayor Sergei Sobyanin. No one is said to have been injured.
Sobyanin claims the drones were a Ukrainian attempt to attack the Russian capital. One of the targets must have been an airport southwest of the city.
