Rickard Thunér’s message about the future in “Antikrundan”

Rickard Thuners message about the future in Antikrundan

It was in 1989 that “Antikrundan” premiered on SVT and since then a total of 35 seasons of the program, where Swedes get the chance to show off and have their objects valued by experts, have been broadcast.

Another season is also underway. At the beginning of March, they announced which locations will be visited by “Antikrundan” this summer.

Rickard Thunér about the “Antikrundan” tour

One of the experts who will be present during the tour this summer is Richard Thuner and in an interview with News24 he notes that the production has largely never been disappointed with the turnout.

– Wherever we go, people always show up. Sometimes it can be 400-500 people, when it is at its lowest, but often it is upwards of 1,000 people. And even though there are sometimes slightly fewer visitors, there is always great material to work with.

– You can of course remember some place where the weather was bad, with torrential rain for a whole day, and of course that takes away a bit of the feeling of “folk festival”. But I haven’t been to any city that I felt was boring.

Rickard Thunér: “Safe and happy in my role”

And Rickard Thunér knows what he’s talking about when he looks back on the “Antikrundan” recordings. He has been with us since 2007 and during this time has become a popular TV profile.

Viewers also don’t have to worry about Thunér disappearing from the TV screen.

– I feel quite safe and happy in my role in “Antikrundan” and don’t feel like I’m going anywhere else. As long as I think it’s fun and the TV viewers think it’s funny that I’m in, I’ll be there, he tells Nyheter24.
