The man suspected of a double murder in Mälarhöjden has a long history of mental illness and violence. It shows a review of judgments made by TV4 Nyheterna. As recently as last summer, the court in Uppsala warned that the man would stop taking his anti-psychotic medication if he was not forcibly cared for. Still, he was discharged six months later. With that in mind, given the man’s history, should he have been out on the streets at all? – Of course you can think that he should not, now he is so far only suspected of crime and we do not know where it lands. But in general, it is clear you can think that way, says Elin Blank, prosecutor in the case. TV4 Nyheter’s reporter Jens B. Nordström tells about the case in the player above.
