Restoration of carillon in Domtoren has been completed: first concert on Friday

Restoration of carillon in Domtoren has been completed first concert

The chimes have been refurbished since February as one of the last parts of the cathedral’s restoration. The keyboard used to play the carillon has been restored, and several clappers have been renewed. But not all parts needed to be replaced. The 50 bells were still in tip-top order and did not need to be restored.
