Former teacher Jan Pankratiew says that he was going to his own small farm to feed his chickens at the time of the accident.

– I heard an explosion, and then it started to burn. Huge, terrible, black smoke, he tells ‘s local assistant about what he saw in Przewodów.

Secretary General of NATO Jens Stoltenberg has said that the crash was probably caused by an anti-aircraft missile launched by Ukraine, which was used by Ukraine to protect itself from Russian attacks.

In Przewodów, an employee of a local school says that he was returning from work with his friend. Half an hour later he heard an explosion and they saw a cloud of black smoke.

– I heard that my friend’s spouse had died. I feel really sorry for him. I can’t talk about him now because my heart is breaking, the woman says.
