The municipality’s investigation has shown that a motion alarm was triggered shortly before the person was found dead, without any of the employees going to investigate the matter. The passivity was explained by the fact that one of the staff had visited the person shortly before the alarm went off.
At the time – the incident occurred in October last year – there were only substitutes at the residence, several of them without nursing training. The municipality states that the procedures have been tightened.
