Several protesters have stormed the presidential palace in Sri Lanka and demanded that President Gotabaya Rajapaksas resign, as the country is in an economic crisis – now the AP reports that he has agreed to resign from his post.
According to local media, protesters have stormed the president’s official residence and his office in the capital Colombo.
On social media, videos are now being spread from inside the house that are full of people and videos of residents taking a dip in the president’s pool.
