Ever since Sony brought the PS Plus Extra subscription to the service, players have liked it a lot. However, there are 2 games that are planned to be removed from service this month.
Sony, PlayStation Plus completely renewed its subscription service by switching to a three-tier subscription system. PS Plus Extra offers all the benefits of a standard PS Plus subscription plus a library of games that you can access anytime. PS Plus Premium, a top subscription system of PS Plus Extra, includes retro/nostalgic games that you can access whenever you want. PS Plus Extra’s library of games works differently from the standard PS Plus Essential package. Games in the library can be added and removed. At the moment, it looks like there are games to be removed.
2 games will be removed from PS Plus Extra library
Shadow Warrior 3 is leaving PS Plus Extra starting July 5th. Shadow Warrior 3 is a first-person shooter and the latest installment in the popular Shadow Warrior series. Shadow Warrior 3 isn’t the only game removed from PS Plus Extra in July 2022. Syberia, whose removal date is currently scheduled for July 19, is also being unsubscribed. Syberia is a critically acclaimed adventure game franchise. That’s why anyone interested in the genre should make sure to play while it’s still available under subscription. Subscribers will have plenty of time to complete it by the time it will be removed from PS Plus Extra on July 19.

Although Shadow Warrior 3 and Syberia are the two games that left PS Plus Extra in July, it seems that there will be removals in the future. For example, the entire Red Dead Redemption series will be removed in the future. Red Dead Redemption 2 will be removed on September 20, while the first Red Dead Redemption game and its add-on, Red Dead Redemption: Undead Nightmare, will be released on October 17.
