Norfolk County issued a reminder Sunday to Haldimand-Norfolk residents planning to use the GO-VAXX mobile vaccination clinics in Norfolk this week.

Jarah Stefek, corporate communications supervisor for the county said attendance at the mobile clinic in Canborough on Saturday was overwhelming.

“The bus will roll into the Courtland Community Center the morning of Monday, December 20,” Stefek noted. “Tickets will be provided to attendees at 10 am For safety reasons, it is imperative that attendees do not arrive prior to that time.”

Additional traffic and safety measures will be put in place for the safety and well being of those in attendance

The converted Metrolinx bus is fully accessible and staffed with trained medical professionals available to answer any questions and discuss any concerns, Stefek added.

The maximum daily capacity for the GO-VAXX mobile clinic is 300 people.

“The Health Unit is working diligently to provide additional clinics to the community and will release those details in the weekly community vaccination update on Monday, December 20,” she said.
