Reforms for 39 billion next year

The government’s budget proposal for next year, which was presented on Wednesday, contained reforms worth SEK 39 billion.

The investments are financed through reform space, not with savings or tax increases elsewhere.

-Sweden is still in an economic winter and in a difficult security situation. The government prioritizes fighting inflation and supporting households and welfare, says Finance Minister Elisabeth Svantesson (M).

Economic growth is estimated to remain weak in 2024 as well.
