Recreational teacher Sara in Härnösand camped in the schoolyard during the snowstorm: “Loves to sleep outside”

Inside a toy shed on two travel mattresses, Sara set up the tent she would spend the night in. With double sleeping bags, thick socks and a lunch bag, she was guaranteed to be prepared for the cold night to come.

– I had loaded so that it would be significantly colder, so I slept very well. It was warm and nice.

Been a scout leader for 15 years

Being out in nature and preparing for tough weather situations is something that Sara is used to. For over 15 years, she has been a scout leader.

– The more you are outside and train, the better it goes. Because if someone had asked me to do this 15 years ago, I wouldn’t have done it, says Sara.

Got sick after the overnight stay

When SVT spoke to Sara Leuf on Friday, she was at home sick from work. The cold overnight stay had still left its mark.

– I’ve had a cold going on for several weeks but it hasn’t broken out. So I think it may have tipped over. But I didn’t freeze and felt great, says Sara Leuf.

In the clip, you can see what it looked like when Sara spent the night in the school shed during the snowstorm.
